THANK YOU to everyone who participated in, and supported, Enerflex Step Up for MS at Central Park on Sunday 30th May, 2010.
Again, Perth’s beautiful weather did not let us down as blue sky and sunlight gleamed through the trees of Central Park.
Over 630 participants (133 teams) registered for Sunday’s climb which to date has raised more than $130,000 – a fantastic effort! A special mention also needs to be made on the nine or so people who did the climb, and who have MS. Well done and congratulations!
Events like Step Up are simply not possible without the assistance of the dedicated support of our fantastic volunteers. On Sunday, we had in excess of 40 volunteers brave the chilly morning to hand out registration packs, provide support for the climbers and be on hand to offer assistance. Thank you to you all.
The MS Society of WA is proud to produce events like Enerflex Step Up for MS. It is not just a fundraising event but the coming together of people from all walks of life to raise much needed funds for the thousands of Western Australians living with MS, to celebrate life and be a part of our community.
Over the last four years, Step Up for MS has contributed close to half a million dollars towards vital services, research, support and education that the MS Society of Western Australia provides.
